Oversees the smooth functioning and success of the VNA Flu Program Recruits and hires flu nurses to
work the flu clinicsInterviews, checks references, assure paperwork is complete before orientationConducts orientation for staffContacts past corporate clients to set up clinic(s)Follows up via email and phone with those that
have not respondedBooks time/date /location for the clinicObtains insurance coverage for each clinic andforwards all necessary paperwork to the clinic contact Obtains availability of nurses and matches with scheduled clinics Records in master spreadsheet and sends regular schedule reminders to staff and clinic contact Checks voicemail and cell phone regularly for clinic issues Orders flu supplies and packs bags in advance of each clinic Manages paperwork generated from clinics including consent forms and mlls forms.Tracks payment to clinicians and reimbursement toAgency and follows up as neededEnter client data into mlls, timely per state protocolsMeets regularly with director and provides updates Weekly report on clinic being held and staffing for such Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all policies and procedures of the Agency and other regulators. Packs flu vaccine per state guidelines. Maintains cleanliness and organization of flu supplies and vaccine refrigeration Alerts facilities when sharps bin is ? full.
Requirements: RN or LPN with three years of work experience.
Good communication, analytical, organization skills. Knowledge of email system, word processing
and spreadsheet application (Microsoft Office).
