This position plays a key role in providing a range of financial modeling and analytics in support of growth of the North America business unit through:
Provide value-based financial models to assist in assessment of new deals and prospective partnerships, including modeling recommended strategic pricing initiatives, rebates
Liaise with a cross-functional team to understand and interpret drivers and trends in customer demand, analyze impact to planned growth and track mitigating or enabling actions
Lead network customer and product profitability and life cycle analysis of the NA portfolio to identify areas of opportunity or risk, trends vs market data
Lead innovative analysis on drivers of sales and revenue results, including the relationship between development and commercial business
Production of regular internal and external business review and commercial reporting, providing and presenting insightful analysis and business commentary to a variety of audiences
Improve cash flow through partnership with AR team and functional site leaders to identify and implement improvements, manage identified credit risk and potential bad debt with sites
Involved in development of annual sales targets using sales-to-revenue modeling, market insight and site strategic growth plans
Coordination with sites and business management of centralized requests or issues with clients, pricing, rebates
Work closely with site, group and divisional commercial finance teams on functional projects
Participate in annual strategic planning exercise, leading revenue analysis and outlook
Bachelors degree and/or MBA in Accounting or Finance
Experience in a global manufacturing organization is desired.
Prior experience in a Financial Analyst or Management role with proven capability to partner with Business Leaders
Excellent problem solving skills with attention to detail; ability to step back and analyze the overall business impact.
Willingness to dig into details and analyze variances and trends.
Excellent financial modeling skills.
The successful candidate also has very good overall business skills; he/she does not limit the scope of responsibilities to commercial finance, but helps to develop solutions to broad business issues.
Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
Superior quantitative and analytical capabilities with Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills; Strong financial systems capabilities (HFM, CMR, SAP)
Must be able to work well under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a complex environment with strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, able to manage priorities and workflow
