The Senior Vice President of US Sales is a key strategic role to ensure we have continued profitable growth in the US market. The SVP will develop and drive plan to win strategies for each category and retailer for Shark and Ninja working collaboratively with marketing, product development, demand planning and other cross functional teams. You will thereby deliver on budgeted goals on top-line and bottom line and lead continued growth in each category. As you synthesize the necessary information to develop the category and account strategies, you will assess and report what is working, what is not working, our risks and opportunities, recommendations, and clear next steps. The SVP has a seat at the table with the Chief Marketing Officer, GM of Global Supply Chain, VP of Commercial Analytics, and VP of Sales and Demand Planning to drive cross functional teams in connecting the dots across programs, channels and retailers. You will ultimately inform and influence strategic decision-making across the business. Along with our strong growth strategy, you will need to define additional systems and process needed to support Leading Consumer Products Company s sales growth and work with other sales leaders across the globe to identify synergies.
Own the Customer P&L and deliver against the revenue and profit targets for both the Shark and Ninja brands and at each account level focusing on not only top-line growth but bottom line growth
Own and chair the Winning every Quarter cross functional work stream on weekly cadence and establish an environment that provides clarity into the performance and the ability to operate in a healthy paranoia (asking the hard questions)
Develop and implement clear governance and cadences for managing the sales organization to ensure we are on track to deliver the revenue and profit targets
Develop and drive yearly sales budget as well as monthly reforecast for revenue and margin working closely with demand planning and finance
Negotiate customer programs, funding and other retail initiatives and ensure spend is within budget.
Build, develop, retain and manage a breakthrough winning organization that delivers exceptional results. The SVP will lead a team of 3-4 VPs and overall sales organization of over 20 people.
Build, develop, retain and manage key customer relationships at the GMM, DMM and Buyer levels to ensure continuous alignment
Establish a process to evaluate gaps or white space in the product assortments, categories and provide information to the marketing and product development organizations
Establish a sustainable process to share insights from the field on market trends, competitive intelligence, etc. to the executive team, marketing and product development teams
Chair and drive cross-functional meetings with Sales, Marketing and Brand to ensure product, placement and marketing plans are aligned to category goals and sales plan
Own and track the retailer launch requirements and ensure all timings are met for a flawless new product launch
Articulate a holistic view on the current and expected future state of the business and offer actionable recommendations to hit goals in every market
Navigate a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional environment with agility

Bachelor s degree in Business, MBA desired
10+ years of experience developing sales strategy and owning the P&L
Demonstrated ability to understand retail market trends and develop solutions and approaches that exceed expectation
Confirmed ability to build, grow and develop breakthrough organizations
Ability to travel up to 20%, mainly domestic
